Havering Hurricanes Cross Country Success!
 
At the weekend we had our first competition on the 2020 season – Cross Country at Parliament Hill. 

 

Overall the team is now sitting 2nd only 14 points away from chasing the current champions Bromley.
A very successful weekend all around with 65 children representing the borough. 

The results are as follows:
Female U11: GOLD
Female U13: BRONZE
Female U15: GOLD
Female U17: 5th
Overall Female: GOLD

Male U11: SILVER
Male U13: 7th
Male U15: 6th
Male U17: 10th
Overall Male: 6th

We also had many individual medals.

For the first year we are opening a post games exhibition at Frys Gallery, Fairkytes Arts Centre.

We would love to see some familiar faces there as we pride ourselves on showing off the achievements of the previous LYG season. The gallery will be made up on photos and memorabilia from the games. Please feel free to bring as many people as you like down to the gallery to support.

This weekend we kicked off the summer season with our Kayak, Tennis and Trampolining comeptitions. Congratulations to all of our participants. 

And the results are: 

Tennis: 7th Overall

Kayak Sprint: 8th Overall

Kayak Slalom: 7th Overall

Trampolining: 5th Overall 

Big congratulations to Rhys Harding who walked away with an individual Silver medal!
